Congratulations to Team Umkhumbane for coming out with the win in last weekend's Rap-I-Fact final between Umlazi vs Umkhumbane where Umkhumbane came out on top in a fierce battle that had the whole rap scene going crazy in Durban, with superstar appearances such as Kwesta, Stogie T, rising star Loki SA and many more.
It was not an easy battle, but on paper it may look different as Umkhumbane won 9-1 in what came as a surprise victory considering the expectations set beforehand with the amount of talent that has come out of Umlazi historically.
In what was a beautiful day for Durban hip hip, we got a chance to see what the scene could really become with the right amount of support and constant exposure, which we hope could come through sooner than we think.
